THE Thanos Kanousis was born in the village of Kontovouni, Kozani. He studied Theater & Cinema and worked as an actor for more than twenty years, participating in notable performances. He was an executive of the Kaisariani Theater for five years and played in Epidaurus (playing Hephaestus in “Prometheus Bound” with Yannis Voglis). On television, he worked with great directors, such as: V. Georgiadis, T. Psaras, Er. Thalassinos, Th. Papageorgiou, K. Koutsomytis, M. Manousakis, etc. As a screenwriter, he collaborated with Yannis Kalamitsis on ANT1 in the series “Signature of the Signer” and on the “Adeneum Show”, as well as on the ERT show “Bibliografia”.
In 2004 he created his own concert and theater production company (ON THE ROAD PRODUCTIONS). A key collaborator of Thanos Mikroutsikos for five years, he collaborated with almost all Greek composers, singers and bands. Indicatively mentioned are: M. Plessas, N. Mavroudis, Chr.
