Bram Stoker's gothic masterpiece is first and foremost a thorough commentary on the limits of human reason, monumentally highlighting dark aspects of desire and sexuality from the Victorian era to the present day.
Bram Stoker (1847-1912) was born in Fairview, Ireland, a seaside suburb of Dublin. As a child he suffered from severe mobility problems, however he fully recovered and in 1870 he graduated from Trinity College with honors in mathematics. Dracula, his masterpiece, was published in 1897.
Luis Scafati (1947-) is an Argentinian designer and illustrator. His works have been exhibited from Barcelona and Frankfurt to Bulgaria and Japan. He has been honored with the Grand National Award for Argentine designers since 1981.
