Born from the ashes of World War II, the Mini became a symbol of Britain and, by extension, of the whole of Europe trying to get back on its feet. A marvel of ingenuity and space-saving, adored by royalty and rock stars, racing drivers and everyday people.
Behind the idea of its creation, the visionary Sir Alec Issigonis, the engineer of Greek origin who listened only to his instinct and… common sense. Alongside him, personalities of the time such as John Cooper, who pioneered the development of the Mini Cooper racing cars that brought consecutive victories in the Monte Carlo rallies, as well as the famous racing driver Sir Stirling Moss.
With its classic, curvy front, large headlights and retro, unbeatable style, the Mini has become a timeless symbol of freedom and innovation. Today, under the roof of BMW, this “small” miracle is boldly advancing towards the era of electric mobility, ready to conquer the future!
A car that has never been just a means of transportation, but a mirror of an entire era and a promise for the future.
