THE BOOK
A house in Athens becomes a map of ideas, memories and obsessions. Vasilis Sarantinos has been building a library for decades that functions as a refuge, a laboratory for thought and a stage for life.
Every shelf tells a story, every author opens a world, every classification hides a moral choice. Between people from the past and the present, in friendships, encounters and internal dialogues, literature acquires a material body and a daily presence.
The city, politics, time and personal responsibility intersect in a thoughtful and sensual narrative: a novel about life with books, about thought as a dwelling, about worlds that insist on remaining open.
