A controversial poet who was heavily criticized during his lifetime, Charles Baudelaire (Paris, 1821-1867) was hailed posthumously as "the true God" (Rebaud), "the first surrealist" (Breton), "the most important poet" (Valery ) and "the greatest archetype of the poet in the modern age and in all countries" (TS Eliot).
Benjamin Lacombe (1982-) is a French writer and illustrator, born in Paris. He is considered one of the leading representatives of contemporary French illustration with numerous titles and exhibitions to his credit.
