About the author:
THE Adrian McKindy was born in 1968 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He studied philosophy at the University of Oxford, before moving in 2003 to New York. Since 2008 he lives in Melbourne, Australia with his wife and their children. Cold Soil, the first book in the series starring policeman Sean Duffy, won the 2013 Spinetingler Literary Magazine Award for Best Emerging Novel. In 2017 the McKindy was awarded the prize Edgar for Rain dogs, the fifth of six books in the series.
