The Hot Drinks, the debut album of Haris and Panos Katsimichas, was released in April 1985. Forty years later, through the pages of this book, the story of the album that changed Greek song is revived, and with it, an entire era is reborn.
From Manolis Rasoulis' note that accompanied the Hot Drinks:
“I am happy and proud that the songs of Haris and Panos are finally being released, after so many years of adversity and denial. […] The artistic entity of Haris and Panos is very authentic, in nature and position, and their songs move at full speed towards the golden mean of modern Greek song, and they are so human that I feel them like hot drinks, in a treacherously frozen winter night. They are not just Greek songs. They are SONGS that reveal Greek beings that pour into the sweetness of the song of the human race […]”.
