We are happy to announce that the Acid publications they acquired the publishing rights in Greek of the now legendary series of short disc "biographies". from the academic series of the publishing house Bloomsbury, 33⅓!

The first titles will be delivered to the Greek reading public through bookstores throughout the country at the beginning of 2022, featuring legendary names of the world music scene. The baton of editing the series will be wielded by Makis Milatos, while the introductions of all the books will be signed by well-known Greek music lovers.

The series which started in 2003 has published in total more than 150 titles, each of which focuses on a pop record in the broadest sense. The name of the series naturally winks at the bends of vinyl records, it is a tribute from music lovers to music lovers, while each title has a different structure, adapted to each album. Journalistic reports and reviews, fiction, memoirs and anecdotal stories about the bands, musical studies of the songs on each record and personal experiences of the author, create a jumble of information, essential for every music lover. The Acid publications with the upcoming release of the 33⅓ series, they continue their contribution to pop culture, a mainstay of content from their inception to the present day. From the release of Sonik magazine, to Moby's biography, David Toop's Ocean of Sound and the upcoming release of Pearl Jam's biography - the first to be released in Greek - Oxy publications prove in practice that, if nothing else, they love pop culture and music.
