HERBS BELONG TO GOD

During a routine baggage check on January 16, 1980, Japanese customs officers found 218 grams of Indian hemp in Paul McCartney's possession upon entering the country, an amount that carried a prison sentence of several years, although, fortunately for the ex-Beatle, it was commuted ultimately to a nine-day detention in Tokyo prisons and the cancellation of his eleven-city Japanese tour. After his release, McCartney was deported on the condition that he never return to the country. Before the announcement of the reduced sentence, Maka's fans around the world feared the worst and messages of support poured in from all over. The one that definitely stood out from the crowd was sent five days after the arrest, when his friend – the eccentric and inimitable reggae legend Lee 'Scratch' Perry – wrote a letter to the Japanese Ministry of Justice in an attempt to express his support.

Dear Gentlemen,
I LEE PIPECOCK JACKSON PERRY LOVINGLY express my concern, about your opinion that a quarter of a plant is a large amount when it comes to master PAUL McCARTNEY.
As a creator of LOVE for nature, light, life and all things under the sun of creation, positive mood through songs, nice situations and lack of problems. I appreciate marijuana and its herbal powers, their widely recognized ability to calm you down, calm you down, and put you in a happier mood.
The greens are God's. To all singers, free quantities and positive frequencies. Please do not consider this amount of plant to be large.
Master PAUL McCARTNEY's intentions are good.
