THE POWER OF THE MINDHow we build our world

There is no doubt that one of our unique characteristics as a species is our ability to shape our world, based first on survival and then on the improvement and upgrading of living, at all levels - and the MIND POWER explores just that.
The basic core of this possibility has always been the unique ability of man to innovate and create, stepping on pre-existing knowledge and ideas, which through the functioning of the brain are absorbed, synthesized, processed and mutated into something new.
The scope of this process – essentially a constant redefinition and reconstruction of the world – is so great that some questions arise effortlessly, as well as inevitably: Why does the human brain spontaneously belch towards innovation? How does he transform this tendency into creation? What is the driving force that drives him there?

The Anthony Brandt and David Eagleman, a seemingly mismatched couple (composer and neuroscientist respectively), tackle all of the above in this ground-breaking and one-of-a-kind book. Based on science and what we know about the functioning of the brain, they attempt to provide answers and explanations, connecting in an understandable way many disparate fields of human creativity, and how it is expressed and shapes our world. Whether we're talking about a Picasso painting, a Nick Cave song or the new iPhone, the spark of inspiration, innovation and the way it evolves into creation are essentially governed by the same principles.

The relevant documentary is an essential supplement to the book The Creative Brain (Netflix, 2019). With contributions from well-known artists and people of the show and the spirit (Nick Cave, Tim Robins, Grimes, DB Weiss and others), scientists, architects, educators and many others, it explores the creative process and how everyone experiences it in the field of – all under his excellent coordination and presentation David Eagleman.
