At the 92nd Oscars, Little ladies directed by her Greta Gerwig stand out with 6 nominations (Best Film, Adapted Screenplay, Best Actress for Saoirse Ronan, women's runner-up for the Florence Pugh, costumes and music for him Alexandre Desplat).

The story of the March family – four young girls Meg, Beth, Jo and Amy, each determined to live their lives the way they want – remains timeless. Except from Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh and Eliza Scanlen in the roles of the girls, the brilliant cast is completed by Louis Garrel, Timothée Chalamet, Laura Dern, Chris Cooper and Meryl Streep.

THE premiere of the film in Greek theaters is expected on February 6, 2020. The Oscar ceremony will take place at dawn (Greece time). February 10th 2020 at the Dolby Theater.

Louisa May Alcott. She was asked to write a novel for girls and initially refused, reacting much like Jo, the tomboy in the book. The family's debts, however, forced her to change her mind. Thus, in 1868, the now well-known ones were written Little ladies, a work inspired by her life, which was loved from the first moment of its release. Their success was so great and so immediate that the following year Alcott wrote in her diary: “Thank God. I paid off all our debts and now we have enough to live on... Now I can die in peace».
