In the first part of the special issue of the international magazine All About History well-known historical figures who spearheaded the imposition of a dictatorship are presented. It examines the specific model of governance which flourished in the first decades of the 20th century and especially after the end of the First World War.
As characteristically the director of the Greek edition mentions Chrysostomos Bobaridis, historian of the Department of Ancient History at the University of Siena, in the introduction to the issue "the protagonists of the tribute embodied the necessity of a strong power that would express the feeling of national humiliation and turn it into a nationalist delirium in every aspect of social life."
In addition to international personalities, the issue also mentions persons of Greek interest, such as Ioannis Metaxas and Regime of Colonels, while the tribute to the pre-war revolutionary movements in Greece is also of great interest.
