THE CREATOR
THE Leopold Ritter von Sacher-Mazoch (1836-1895), author and journalist, became best known for the romance novel "Aphrodite in Fur", inspired by his relationship with his mistress, Fanny Pistor. She married twice and shared progressive views on women's emancipation and opposition to anti-Semitism by publishing political writings in periodicals.
