THE MISS AND THE SUGAR CUP
A Buddhist story through Despina's children's eyes!
With great pleasure Fourfouri Publications publish in Greek the latest of the books of the multi-awarded John J. Muth, "Despina and the Sugar Cup"! A fairy tale with warm illustration and strong symbolism, in which Despina and Aerinos, the Panda bear star, with his own television series on the Apple TV+ platform!
Despina and her little cat, Socrates, are always together. But one day a car hits Socrates and then Despina looks for her wise friend, Aerinus. She is sure that he will know the right medicine to bring Socrates back to life. Aerinos tells Despina that yes, he can help her: he advises her to go around the neighborhood and find someone who will give her a cup of sugar.
However, in order to make the medicine there is a condition...
A true work of art by Jon J Muth, which is permeated throughout by a sense of softness and peace. Because in the end we must honor and celebrate the fragile and sacred moments that we all share with those we love and have loved.
