Music in Greece in the 80s

The 1980s saw the coexistence of many musics – both old sounds and new ones that characterized it – creating a rich world, against stereotypically grumpy notions of 'poor years', which could not be compared to the cosmogony of the 1960s and/or the "insurmountable" 1970s.
Especially in Greece, where all the international trends of the time flourished, while at the same time the domestic musical culture remained prosperous, boosted by a general sense of economic prosperity and social progress, elements that for many have made the 1980s today something like a lost domestic paradise.
Sonik therefore decided to dedicate 2 separate issues to the 1980s: one to the international experience and one to the Greek.
