The sophistry and deceptive methods that the great philosopher tirelessly suggests often make the reader smile. However, reaching the conclusion of the text, one realizes that what preceded it ultimately looks more like an exercise in irony and is intended to act as a warning: "Barely one in a hundred people is worthy of being argued with. The rest, let them say what they want - everyone has the right to be stupid."
