THE Mark Sullivan he has written eighteen novels, as well as the New York Times bestselling Private series, which he co-wrote with James Patterson. He has won numerous awards for his writing, including the WHSmith Young Talent Award, and his works have been praised by the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times. He grew up in Medfield, Massachusetts, and graduated from Hamilton College with a degree in English, before serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Nigeria, West Africa. Upon his return to the United States, he earned a bachelor's degree from Northwestern University's Mendell School of Journalism and began a career in investigative reporting.
