On her thirteenth birthday, Anne Frank receives a diary as a gift. She decides to confide in him all her secrets and to achieve this she creates a fictional persona, Kitty, the faithful friend she longs for, but will never get. Eventually Kitty will witness the hasty maturation of a girl already very mature for her age, who lives in a time where all ideals are shattered, people show their worst selves and don't know if they should believe in truth, justice and to God.

In 1942, Anna and her family are forced to hide after being hunted by the Nazis in an old building in Amsterdam. They remain there for two years, until they are arrested by the Gestapo on August 4, 1944. Only her father survived, thanks to whom the diary was also published.

A shocking written document that was transferred to the cinema, the theater and translated into many languages.
