The Path to the Crypt is a series of short stories about the dark side of life and the mystery that lies well within the lives of everyday people. They are tales of people next door who are unexpectedly different, as they balance with a dangerous instability between dream and reality, fantasy and truth. Broken minds, faces emerging from nightmares that suddenly came to life, long-forgotten legends that take on flesh and blood, morbid loves and cracked masks that reveal the bleak image of their owners. The story world of the Crypt is painted in the weedy colors that at first confuse you, but in the end you surrender to them. A few words about the author Chrysa's struggle with words began in Athens during her preschool years and has continued for 3 decades... She loved Jules Verne and Victor Hugo, who contributed to the creation and release of an unbridled imagination, which will not it never found a place in printed pages unless urged on by friendly persons. However, she enjoyed this journey and promises us that it will not stop at the end of this book. Chrysa Baha lives in Athens and works at "Foyer" magazine as a collaborator and member of the editorial team.
