The persona of Iris Storm – who became the heroine for an entire generation and haunted people's consciousness with her performance by the divine Greta Garbo – accompanied by her green hat and her expensive car, constantly plays between the image of a femme fatale who can't get enough of life and the melancholic outcast who hides a tragic secret. Against the background of urban life in London and Paris in the twenties, through the atmosphere of the interwar period, an original story emerges and an indelible female physiognomy: the beautiful one with the green hat, the hoarse voice, the honey hair, who in in an expensive car she consciously runs towards her destruction. PERSONA SERIES Like original statues of the artistic imagination, like primordial heroines, like sirens who haunt people's dreams, the authors built female figures who conquered people's minds, who gave birth to unprecedented desires in their hearts, although they were nothing more than imaginary idols, paper and ink products. The PERSONA series invites you to travel with her on this journey of searching for those women, who are the model for roles of Garbo, Monroe, who influenced the aesthetic and even social standards even of our time, without ever living. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Michael Arlen was born in 1895 in Bulgaria to Armenian parents, named Dikran Kuyumjian. At an early age he went with his parents to England where he stayed for the rest of his life.
