Years ago, Jean Gray summoned a powerful cosmic entity known as the Phoenix Force in a desperate attempt to save the X-Men from certain death. Adopting the identity of Jean, the Phoenix wiped out an entire planet before the X-Men could seemingly destroy this deadly, otherworldly creature. But, like the mythical flaming bird, the Phoenix was reborn from its ashes. Seeking to reconnect with Jean Grey, he returned to Earth, only to discover that his former host was no longer alive. Without Jean Gray in control of the unlimited power of the Phoenix, will the X-Men be able to once again stop this universal force of death and destruction?
