The epic adventure of a seventy-pound mastiff and a twenty-year-old woman who grows up with him.
After graduating from college, Lauren Fern Watt moves to New York, taking with her Giselle, the huge seventy-pound mastiff. There are many difficulties, but Lauren manages to find the right – that is, a tiny – apartment in the center of developments, Times Square, and start her new life. Well into her third decade of life, Lauren always has Giselle by her side, in her first job, in her special relationship with her mother, in the challenge of growing up in a metropolis. But when things suddenly change and Lauren realizes that her best friend won't be around forever, she makes a wish list to make the most of the time they have left.
Giselle, my life with a huge dog, or else a deep and honest testimony about the power of unconditional love and the precious value of every moment.
"A touching story that will stay with you for a long time" – Elle
