The Dilemma of Right is a brilliant novel that moves at breakneck speed. His theme, family secrets and the concept of punishment. His setting, the dark side of the city of Washington – the place where politicians and diplomats never dare to go near. Derek Strange, an ex-cop who works as a detective in his private firm "Strange Investigations", takes on the case of a police officer who was murdered by a colleague in an unfortunate night fight. The mother's appeal leads Strange to the underworld of Washington, where police and criminals operate under their own secret laws, and where human life is worth less than money and drugs. With Terry Quinn at his side, the cop who was acquitted of the death of his colleague, but unable to escape his remorse, Strange confronts the drug trade, racism, and the hatred of killers that haunt his pages book.
