SENSITIVE MONKEYS
23a Fokionos Negri, March 2020.
In a model apartment building, the janitor does everything to avoid the spread of the virus, fighting with the past that has stigmatized him.
The student of the former rarely breaks down, ending up hugging a saxophone.
The tenants in the second are now old and dance on the roof, changing habits of years.
Father Theofilos is self-abnegating in his apartment, across from the "Lady of the Third" who only receives visitors and is always waiting for something.
The fourth grade family, with the teacher insisting, Angeliki still being searched for and a mother-in-law among them, experiences the change for the first time.
A Cuban living on the fifth is left to memories and as much life as he still has, with the disease gnawing at his lungs.
A package that was never delivered,
the change in the mood of the tenants,
a pair of half-broken glasses,
the earth shaking on the deserted footpath,
a painting full of secrets,
the apartment of the fifth; still closed
and a concert that rocks the neighborhood
just before everything changes.
