After thirty years of uninterrupted recording and storming concert presence, it is time for the amazing to pass from the speakers to the paper rock 'n' roll - or maybe… black metal – history of the greatest Greek metal shape.  

The founder and "brain" of Rotting Christ Sakis Tolis, together with the English journalist and writer Dayal Patterson (Black metal: Evolution of the Cult, Into the Abyss), look back with disarming directness to moments from the band's entire career, from the very beginning demo in Athens to the stages of the whole world. Min from accounts of former and current members of the band, as well as interviews with prominent international figures metal scene, they bring out all those elements that they gave to Rotting Christ the glamor they have today: the adoration for music and the various manifestations of the "dark" sound, the indomitable spirit, the constant artistic search and the non-negotiable attitude to life are just some of the characteristics they have given to the Rotting Christ generations of dedicated fans, from Northern Europe to South Africa and from India to Mexico and Brazil.

The book includes rich photographic material from the entire history of the band. Aanecdotal stories and photos exclusively for the Greek edition. 

When the name Rotting Christ first started to be heard, it was usually associated with various demos. These set the grindcore side of things, in the Athenian underground of the late 1980s. By their first EP Passage To Arcturo (1991), however, things had taken on a definite metal flavor.

Non Serviam is spread over 304 pages and includes narratives by former and current members of Rotting Christ, as well as interviews with prominent personalities of the international black metal scene, while it also has rich photographic material - some narratives, but also some photographs, are available exclusively in Greek version. www.avopolis.gr
