ON THE ROADS OF AUSTRALIA
Red sand, flat vastness, unruly ocean waters, endless straights, huge monolithic rocks, desolate vegetation: the setting of the place. Unobstructed gaze, deafening silence, unbearable loneliness: the street scenario. There are some places in the world that seem like they were made just for the lonely road tripper. Australia, the world's smallest continent, is one of them.
Our acquaintance with the sparsely populated Terra Australis Incognita revealed to us a peculiar and unique ecosystem, favored by the continent's centuries-long isolation in the distant southern seas. Traveling with our motorcycle on the roads of Australia, we "treated" our souls to the bloodiest sunsets, followed the tracks of pioneer explorers and listened to the existential concerns and unfulfilled dreams of the native Aborigines.
But above all, traveling to the distant island of the South, we found Greece everywhere! And that was what we liked the most.
