ON THE ROADS OF AMERICA
We longed to see the sunset in the Andes, in the Rockies, in Tierra del Fuego. We couldn't wait to follow legendary revolutionary Che Guevara's epic two-wheeled journey through South America. We wanted to decipher the mysteries of the cultures that shaped the historical past of the American continent. Two-wheeled explorers of the American continent, we wandered through a land of great, extreme contrasts. From the Tropic of Capricorn to the Arctic Circle and from Antarctica to the Equator, simplicity and grandeur, past and future, utter poverty and excessive wealth, humility and arrogance coexisted in every American mile we traveled. Traveling and searching for distant homelands, we found that here, in the vast borders of the American continent, time seemed so short and the earth so big!
