PICTURE OF HORROR

This is not a book of horror and mystery stories. Inside it is hidden the secret plan of a city, which at some point quietly slipped outside the boundaries of space and time. The vague toponyms and incomplete dates exist only to hold the eight chapters on their pages like invisible thumbtacks. The inhabitants of this town are imaginary people, but none of them know it yet. Lost in a city with no beginning and no end, stranded on a planet with no escape route, and exiled to a life with no escape plan, some of them see their idols dancing on the mirror of terror and absurdity. Crime spreads to the neighborhoods and suburbs, the system feels its glass structures crack, while somewhere deep in the bowels of the city and not far from the planet's core, some four-legged vagabonds plan the fatal blow. A series of dark stories that make the reader laugh... and suspect that the author means more than what he says! A few words about the author Yiannis Adamis was born in 1975, studied law in Athens and currently works as a lawyer in Volos. The Horror Design is the third book he has written and the second to be released, after Prigipodoulies, the illustration of which, by the Magik Pencil team, was honored in 2007 by the Greek Graphic and Illustration Awards (EBGE).
