PLACE OF WORSHIP

Giorgos Notaras touches on an era, about which much has been said, but which always holds hidden secrets and unexplored areas, as much as the human experience. Early 70s, somewhere in Athens. The hero of the story seems to be a typical sample of the youth of the time. The transition from adolescence to the years of some first maturation seems "normal", as normal as the fulfillment of a destiny can be. A love story that travels through various loves: A story of faith, in the midst of infidelity and acceptance in the midst of rejection. Attempt to understand, on the part of the hero, the feelings of a woman, who knows his ideal mission. The one and only reason for its existence, beyond love and romances, which have their limits, and which when they don't have them is a danger-death. She herself reaches these limits. Her completely uncompromising character, who could not help but be a receiver of supernatural intuitions, places her in front of a dilemma, which one cannot tell whether it frightens or amuses her. The course of our hero's de-dependence from this woman seems to finally pass through another dependence, deeper, more essential and perhaps final.
