THE REVENGE OF THE TIBERUS

Decius Caecilius Metellus, known for his habit of solving crimes and angering the powerful of Rome, returns to the city to take up the duties of agoranom. These include the organization of -expensive- contests with gladiators and beasts. But the city around him suddenly begins to fall apart: buildings collapse, the Tiber floods, the sewers overflow and Decius suspects that his matches will end up becoming a death trap for the spectators! The only solution is to find the culprits himself and his investigations begin with the greedy Roman contractors. However, they end up in a death trap for him, in his attempt to arrest the main culprit...

The initials SPQR (Senatus Populusque Romanus – The Senate and the People of Rome) were the official name of the Roman Republic.
