Author Biography:
Frank Herbert (1920-1986) is one of America's leading science fiction writers. His work Dune it has seen countless editions and translations around the world and was brought to the cinema by David Lynch. In his works he has highlighted ecological sensitivity, concern for the uncontrolled power of elites and has been an opponent of the psychiatricization of deviant behaviors.
