The King of the Sidewalk

July 1976. At a drive-in in Fayetteville, Carolina, ex-convict Wilton Cooper witnesses a murder committed by a young white man whom he immediately takes with him to the capital. Their course is marked by an orgy of murders.
A whim of luck will throw Greek-origin small-time marijuana dealer Ntimitri Karas and his black friend and teammate on the city's outdoor courts, Markus Clay, into this path.
