O Henry Marsh has been one of Great Britain's leading neurosurgeons for the past 30 years. He specialized in brain surgery under local anesthesia and invented many innovative surgical practices. He was the subject of two BBC documentaries, the Your Life in their Hands (2004) and The English Surgeon (2007). For his contribution to Medicine, he was awarded the Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2010.
